Copenhagen, Denmark

Plan

See/Do

  • if you want to experience it like a Dane, rent a bike one day and bike around town!
  • Amalienborg were the guards is (be there a little before 12 so you can see the guard change), the little mermaid is not too far from there, she is small but it’s just something people have to see.
  • Designmuseum Danmark
  • The gardens of Tivoli a little later in the day
  • Nyhavn is a nice street with a canal, restaurants and nice boats. Try an open sandwich (“smørrebrød”) – Told Og Snaps restaurant! From Nyhavn there is boat trips going around Copenhagen but I would only go on it if it’s nice weather.
  • get an old fashioned ice cream in a cone with “guf” and “flødebolle” on top
  • Christiania, a guided tour is available. This part of Copenhagen is its own little city and its just a really cool, special place! If you like to smoke weed this is also the place to go. Nice gardens and special houses.
