  • Moscow Kremlin (Moskovsky Kreml) – go inside The Armoury and the Cathedrals, join a group or take an audio guide
  • After walk around Red Square (Krasnaya ploshchad), drop into GUM Department Store (Glavny Universalny Magazin). Inside there’s a good Italian place for lunch/drinks – BOSCO
  • Tverskaya st >> Kamergerskiy >> Bolshoi Theatre >> 20 Kuznetsky Most Ulitsa (cool shopping)
  • Christ The Savior Cathedral, 15 min. walk from Red Square
  • Novodevichy (New Maiden) Convent and Cemetery (historical place)
  • The State Tretyakov Gallery – the best collection of Russian art. Next to it there is nice area called Cadashevskay embankment
  • Moscow Metro Stations (better in the evening): http://www.creativevisualart.com/2013/05/21/11-of-moscows-most-beautiful-metro-stations
  • Gorkiy Central Park of Culture and Recreation – nice park to walk around and to rest , take a boat tour on Moskva River
  • Sparrow Hills (Vorobyovy Gory) – nice view of the city
  • Try to get tickets to Bolshoi Theatre + dinner after at Bolshoi Restaurant (right behind the theatre (mind the dress code)

  • Delicatessen (trendy basement restaurant)
  • Ragout, a stylish neo-bistro
  • The White Rabbit (European, with a view)
  • KARLSON (high-end, a roof top with great view)

  • Café Margarita on Patriarchies lakes (ok food, nice music and atmosphere)
  • Grand Cafe Dr. Zhivago (Russian, with a view)
  • Odessa-Mama (Soviet style)
  • Cook’kareku (nice for breakfast and dinner)
