Before you go
- Money: Argentina’s currency and economy is very unstable so check situation and exchange rates before you go. I managed with credit cards (Revolut) everywhere but it wasn’t an effective option even few months before my trip (due to high fees and bad exchange rates for foreign cards). Paying cash is usually cheaper but you’d need to carry a lot of notes.
- Mobile: purchase a local eSim ahead of travel and activate on arrival (I used GoMoWorld)
- Transport: use Uber to get to/from airport and in town
